Guilt-Free Junk
Today I joined the gym! I thought it was a good idea to make a commitment before the new year as new year resolutions can sometimes be hard to keep as there is so much hype! I feel so great after my workout but I am sure my muscles will be super sore tomorrow. But no pain, no gain right?
Not only have I embraced excersise into my daily routine I have immersed myself with a healthy menu-plan. I had the most delicious breakfast of mango, banana and yoghurt this morning mmmm! So to celebrate my new health kick I bought this hilarious Origami Hamburger Set from The Curious Shoppe which will sit onto of my fridge for the ultimate guilt-free junk food snack! I also this its super cute and very clever!
Are you making New Years Resolutions this year? If so, what are they?

Snail Mail
The clever kids at Decoylab have created a 2009 Calendar Postcard and this is how it works: Each month you will receive a monthly postcard calendar in your mailbox throughout the year 2009. Postcard has a monthly calendar on one side and an image on the other. Every month a card is designed, printed and sent. How super great is this? Not only do you get a cute print, its useful!
P.S Oh yeah my slogan/catchphrase for the new year is '2009 is going to F-I-N-E!' because I thought '2008 was not that great!' (tee hee)!

Prom Date
P.S: A week after the ball I was at a party and my ball date appeared and handed my a corsage made out of frangipanis and mumbled that he felt bad he had forgotten to give me a corsage-awww bless! I happily wore my new corsage with my jeans for the rest of the night!

Weather Lady
Sometimes I wish I was as handy with a pencil and a set of watercolours as Kat Macleod. Oh, green with envy!
Dear Diary,
When I was younger I always wanted to keep a diary. I thought it would be neat to read when I was older and wiser and laugh at all the funny and frivolous things I did, who I crushed on and my youthful aspirations. But for some reason I could never get past day 10 and I would get distracted with something else and forget all about it. So I see writing a blog as a type of visual diary and a daily record of my own experiences, observations, feelings and inspirations. And you can bet that I will be celebrating at post 10!
I am in much awe of the blogging universe and want to immerse myself in it. I have been reading blogs for quite a while and love following my favourite bloggers advice and ideas and so I suddenly feel the time has come to own a my own little slice of the blog-a-sphere. I must confess I did dabble in it earlier this year and failed miserably as life threw me some obstacles and my new found blog was soon forgotten and neglected (quite like my diaries I guess!). But this time it's different (I pinky-promise!), not sure why but I must say I'm pretty excited! I hope we can become friends, I think that would be neat!
